Aaron Tyrone Alexander

December 1, 1947 — February 13, 2021

Aaron Tyrone Alexander, 73, son of the late Haywood and Louise Alexander was born December 1, 1947 in Charlotte, NC. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Aaron attended Second Ward High School in Charlotte, NC, which he attended with many lifelong friends, graduating in 1966. After graduation he attended North Carolina A&T University for two years and served in the United States Air Force shortly thereafter. After an honorable discharge from the Air Force Aaron moved to Philadelphia, PA in the early 1970s. During his time in Philadelphia Aaron met Carolyn Gibbs with whom he had one child Jason Alexander. While in Philadelphia he worked at Simkar Corporation, United Airlines, and as a clerk for the PA Liquor Control Board. Aaron moved back to Charlotte, NC in 1992 working for Pittsburgh Plate Glass, US Airways Express, and Direct Link until he retired. Aaron Alexander will be remembered as a great Father, Son, Brother, Family Member, and Friend. He was a kind hearted man who never met a stranger. He loved and protected his friends whether he knew them all his life or just met them. Aaron loved to entertain, was a great cook, and was always the life of the party at any social function. He was preceded in death by his brothers Rusell Peck of Richmond, VA and Jerry Alexander of Charlotte, NC. He leaves to cherish fond memories: his son Jason Alexander of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters Calvenia Latimer and Linda Alexander both of Charlotte, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great friends, and honorary children Kennedy Campbell, Catalina Londoño, and Maria-Camila Londoño.
