Aj Walters, Jr.

Mr. A. J. Walters, Jr. departed this life September 11th, 2020 at Presbyterian Hospital; Charlotte NC.  A.J. was born February 15th, 1960 in Herlong, CA.  A. J. was preceded in death by his parents A. J. Walters, Sr. and Gertrude McDowell Walters and also a brother Mark Walters.

A.J. was truly a man that lived his life the way he wanted.  His life had many twists and turns but he never complained about anything.  His good days outweighed his bad ones by the way he dealt with them. He had a smile and laugh that would brighten up a room.  A.J. served his country in the United States Army. He was a special man that loved and accepted people just the way they were.

A.J. is survived by his loving lifelong companion Jamie Truesdale, sisters Leola Doll of Las Vegas NV, Angela Walters Cook of Monroe, NC,brothers Clark Walters (Rose) of Wadesboro NC, Charles Washington of Houston, TX; Isaac Green of Delhi, LA. He also has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special longtime friends Pearl Blackmore and Missy Harris.
