Alice Penolia Johnson-Lyons

Alice Penolia Johnson Lyons, 67, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Dr. James Lyons, daughter, Janelle Lyons, son, Randall Lyons and granddaughter, Layla Lyons. Her funeral service will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church-3400 Beatties Ford Road., Charlotte, NC 28216. Visitation will be from 12-1. The burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens-1504 W. Sugar Creek Road., Charlotte, NC 28262. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the C.W. Kerry Scholarship Fund C/O Friendship Missionary Baptist Church at the address noted above.
