Alicia Laverne Lewis was born May 13th 1961 in Marion NC and proceeded in death by the late Alice Iva Wayne (late Oscar Wayne) and the late Arnold Howard Carson Sr.( late Viola Johnson Carson)Alicia held the pride of being the oldest daughter of her five siblings, and as a child she grew up in Western North Carolina,and when her family relocated to Oceanside, CA in her high school years, she was known for her speed in track and field. A lover of life, good music, and a good two step, Alicia could always brighten any room she entered, with her infectious smile and charm. Never knowing a stranger, she could always be found helping the homeless and giving hope to the hopeless, sharing a laugh with a stranger, Alicialived a colorful life brimming with love and joy, her kindness and generosity has touched countless lives.

Alicia is survived by her husband Mr. Ricky Lee Lewis, her beautiful daughters, Mrs. Latosha Renee Carson-Warren (late Mr. Charles Jr Warren III) Ms. Jessica Josephine Ingram, Mrs. Tiffany Elaine Richardson (Danielle Richardson), and Ms. Juanita Lorraine Hubbard, her beautiful bonus children Quisha Lewis (Harlem Lewis granddaughter) and Chaquita Lewis, grandchildrenJuanell Jamal Floyd, Michayla Denise Elaina Jordan, Lamont Breedon (AahnadaBreeden great-grand), Amelia Rosanna Warren (Rob/Emerald great-grandchildren), her siblings Arnold Howard Carson Jr “JR”, Mary Yvonne Drayton “Dootz” (Late Mr. Henry Drayton brother in love/Late Mr. Wayne Lee Streeter Nephew), Ronald Wilson Carson “The Champ”(Mrs. Toranda Carson “Lady T” sister in love/Ms. Desiree L. Carson Neice/Regan and Cedric Porter Neice and Nephew in Love/David Hopper Nephew/Cassidy Porter great-niece) Roberta Hall “Squirt” (Mr. Todd Hall brother in love, Ms.Erika Morrison niece, Mr.Dominik Hall nephew) Jeremy Johnson (Mrs. Tina Johnson sister in love) Shelley Bridges (Mr. Christopher Bridges brother in love) and a host of family, loved ones and strangers turned family, whom she loved unconditionally and with her whole heart. Alicia will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Since before their union on December 14, 2012 you could find this Steeler Nation loving couple on the dance floor of many a family function or singing endless love songs to one another like true crooners do, in sync, always hitting the best notes and loving each other through beautiful harmonies. We are forever grateful that Mama found her true love in Papa, and for him loving her, protecting her, and honoring his vows daily, in sickness and in health, with unconditional and everlasting love,we thank you for giving us a safe place to call home and aextended family who embraced us with open arms, we thank you for loving us, and for being there with us through everything, you are loved and appreciated.

To Our Family, we thank you for loving us through it all, we are gratefulthat you are our village, thank you for fighting with and for us, we thank you for gathering with us, for praying with us, supporting and uplifting us through this journey, and we ask for your continued support and guidance as we navigate life without our Queen, our favorite cheerleader and dance partner.

Mama, take your rest, you did your best, and ran the race with grace, elegance, and so much beauty, love and laughter.We love you, we will miss you, and its not goodbye, its later, Lil Head!
