Alta Marie Bridges

Alta Marie Bridges, the beloved daughter of Alton E. Bridges and Marjorie R. Bridges was born in Laurinburg, NC on August 26, 1948. She departed this life on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Alta graduated from I. Ellis Johnson High School in Laurinburg, NC. She worked as a cafeteria worker for Scotland Memorial. Her last employment was at Wendy's chain restaurant before completely retiring as a greeter. Her hobbies were reading and drawing. She loved her family beyond measure. Alta was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alton E. Bridges of Laurinburg, NC. Alta leaves behind her family to cherish the memory of her life. Her beloved sisters and brothers: Shirley J. Alford, Donnie V. Bridges, Fern A. Montgomery, Bert B. Stack, Mable Chapman, and Essie Bridges, Jr. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
