Amari Reshad Mccaskill

’mari Re’Shad McCaskill was born on February 27, 1999 in Charlotte, NC.  He departed this life on August 20, 2019 in Charlotte, NC.  He received his education from Mecklenburg County Public Schools and, at an early age, developed a passion for music.  He loved spending time with family and friends, especially, his son, A’mari Jr. and daughter, Jasmine. A’mari was loved by many and will be dearly missed by family and friends.  He will be remembered as a kind, gentle, and mild manner father.  He leaves to cherish his parents, Ms. Kimberly McCaskill and Mr. Willie Springs; daughter, Jasmine; son, A'mari Jr.; siblings, Davorious, Ya'shebra, Nicholas, Enchantis, Willie, Derrick, Antonio, Destiny, Stephon, Cortez, Stephen, Brittany, Bryant, Nevaeh, and Dequarius; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Elaine McCaskill; paternal grandmother, Ms. Clementine Bullock; great aunt, Mrs. Dorothy Huntley; aunts, Mary Ann, Towanna, Latonia (Jon), Sharon, Deborah Ann (Darren), Jackie, Denine, Shona, Sonya, Joyce, Delois, Tammy, Miche'le, and Nicole; uncles, Lamar, Roscoe (Tiffany), Andrew, Bernard, Mike, Duncan, and Rodney; godbrothers, Jaccuehas and Tyrone, godsisters, Lykia and Carrie; and a vast number of loving cousins, relatives, and friends.  God saw the roads were getting rough, The hills were hard to climb He gently closed A’mari’s loving eyes And whispered, “Peace be Thine”.   He is gone, but not forgotten, Never will our memories fade. Sweetest thoughts will ever linger Round the place where he rests.
