Anthony L. Brown

Beloved Husband, Father, Uncle, Brother, Godfather, Mentor, Coach and Friend. Age 53 of Charlotte, N.C., originally from Bronx, New York and a Syracuse University graduate. Survived by wife, Melody and sons, Richard and Robert. “Tony” touched the lives of many people including the brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, the Charlotte Storm Basketball Organization, The Varsity Basketball Team of the Community School of Davidson and many family and friends. He will be greatly missed. A visitation to celebrate Anthony’s life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 9:00 -10:30 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church located at 333 Jeremiah Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28262. The service begins at 10:30. Burial services will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens located at 1504 W. Sugar Cheek Road, Charlotte, NC 28262.
