Armand Alan Carter

Armand Alan Carter went home to be with the Lord after passing away unexpectedly on October 10, 2021. He was the only child of Sheila Laury of Charlotte, NC and Aaron Lester Carter of Queens, NY who preceded Armand in death.

Born on September 1, 1987 in Richland County, South Carolina, Armand grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended Harding High School. He was trained in the things of God as a child.

He was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed watching basketball and football.  Armand was a hard-worker and had become a long-haul truck driver and was working to fulfill his dream of operating his own transportation company.

Armand was a Loving Son. Armand’s life passion was being a father to his children who he was devoted to and loved dearly. They are among the many that mourn his passing. Armand is survived by his loving mother, Sheila Laury as well as his children: Jon’Tavion Armand Carter, Chase Demetrius Carter, Kashton Bellamy Alexander Carter and Chancellor Mitchell. In addition, Armand is grieved by his lifelong friend, coach, mentor, and Spiritual-Father, Cornelius Atkinson and the entire Atkinson family and his Love, Kalisa Mitchell; his aunts: Donna Carter-Chatman, Tracy Moody and Cynthia Carter, all of Jamaica, NY and his paternal grandfather,Aaron Carter of Barnwell, SC; Aunt Gail Davis of Florence, SC. and a host of family and friends that will greatly miss Armand.
