Severin Assiongbon Agboglo is known to his friends and family as “Fo Seve” (Brother Seve). Born on November 27, 1962, in Lomé, Togo (West Africa), Fo Seve was a passionate activist and a freedom fighter.
His fight for equality and the pursuit of happiness is what brought him to the USA in the early 90’s where he enjoyed the rest of his short life on earth, surrounded by his family and dear friends in Charlotte, NC. Even when a chronic illness tried to strike him down - his strength, love and perseverance kept him strong while his sovereign voice continued to carry admirable power.
Fo Seve was kind hearted, loving, caring, God fearing family man, always willing to share his knowledge and lend a helping hand to someone in need. His wisdom and kindness will forever be part of us. His grace will provide comfort as his loved ones come together to celebrate his life in remembrance. Fo Seve is loved by many and will forever be missed.
May his soul come to rest in everlasting peace.
