Avion Dingle

In Loving Memory of Avion Amelie Dingle

With deep sorrow and unwavering faith, we honor the life and legacy of Avion Dingle, who entered eternal rest on June 26, 2025, at the tender age of 15 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Although his earthly journey ended too soon, we find comfort in knowing that Avion is now embraced in the eternal arms of our Heavenly Father.

Avion was born on November 29, 2009, and was an upcoming 10th grader at Julius Chambers High School. A bright light with a radiant spirit, Avion was full of energy, curiosity, talent, and dreams. He was passionate about writing and loved immersing himself in video games as well as horror and action-packed movies like Maximum Overdrive, Christine, John Wick, and Hitman. He also enjoyed basketball and football.

Avion had a fearless heart and a bold imagination. He was a wonderful big brother. He was always very protective of his sisters and cousins since a young age. Avion loved meeting new people and making them feel included, letting them know that they would have a friend in him. He was a beautiful, generous soul. He cared for others, imprinting & leaving his mark on everyone that he crossed paths with. Avion’s spirit lives on in each of us and he will always be remembered as being exactly who and what he was to each of us.

Avion was preceded in death and reunited in glory with those who have gone before him.

His Uncle Linvard Walker, Great Grandmothers Maxine Fullenwider, and Shermaine Patterson, and Great Grandfather Arthur Walker. We take comfort in knowing they now surround him with love in heaven.

He leaves behind a loving and devoted family who will forever cherish his memory:

His parents. Amber and Mohamed Tirera of Charlotte, NC. and Rahmelle and Deandria Dingle of Lincolnton, NC; sisters, Armani Dingle, Amina Tirera, and Anaysia Potlow of Charlotte, NC, Daysia Holmes of Atlanta, GA, and Angel and Alijah Dingle of Lincolnton, NC; brother, Aizayah Dingle of Lincolnton, NC. He is also lovingly remembered by his Grandparents Cheryl and Charles Avery of Linwood, NC; Kevin Patterson of McK eesport, PA: Tabitha and Harvey Johnson of Orangeburg, SC; Charlene and Manley James of Charlotte, NC; Great-grandparents Lottie and Charles Dingle and Anna and Nelson Johnson of Orangeburg, SC. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends also remain to carry on his light: Uraszia Walker (Ray Carter), Tamara Patterson, Aliyah Patterson, Manley James Jr., Blake James, Cayce James, Damion Felder, Antwan Curry, Jadaar Johnson, and Maddison Johnson. Special cousins include Raymere and Nalaya Carter, Alese Jackson, Berkeley Bares, Jalana Curry, and Cash Johnson — along with a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever carry Avion's love and light in their hearts.

Though Avion's time on earth was brief, his spirit made a lasting impact. His laughter, his dreams, and his love will echo into the hearts of all who knew him. He taught us the beauty of living fully, loving deeply, and dreaming boldly. His light will never dim-it will shine on through each of us.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18

Rest well, sweet Avion. You are forever loved.
