Legacy Darmika-Grace Gray

February 13, 2022 – February 19, 2022

Princess Legacy was born on February 13, 2022 at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.  She was only with us here on earth for a short amount of time when God called her home on February 19, 2022 while still at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center.  Although time was limited she was affectionately known by many sweet names:   “Baby Gray”, “Gracie”, “Grace”, “Hey Hey”, and to dad as “Faith”.

Princess Legacy was preceded in death by her sister Zearia Tucker, maternal grandfather Joe Harris, and great grandmother Hibernia Fuller, her paternal grandmother Nancy Gray, grandfather William Baxter Teeter, aunt and namesake Darmika Gray and great grandmother Josephine Autry.

Legacy leaves to cherish her memory, father Thomas E. Gray Sr., mother LaChunda McGee, 10 siblings Tavonte Gray, Rasheid White, Tyler Barker, Zanyia Funderburke, O’Brian Walker, Kelese Moore, Eryah Hunter, and Kassedy Moore all of Charlotte, NC, a paternal great grandfather James Autry and maternal grandmother Joyce McGee, paternal aunts Kia Gray, and Jamesia Gray, and uncles Desi Gray, and Timothy Gray, maternal aunts Velma Nicholas, Linda McGee LaVita Shands, Deborah Adams and Gwendolyn Henderson and uncles Michael Nicholas, and Reggie Brown.

Legacy has a  great host of great aunts and great uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.  Honorable mention Zabrina Stephens of Charlotte, NC, Kelly Aston of Silver Spring, MD Willie & Arthette Walker of Kannapolis, NC, Adrian Taylor of Chester, VA, Shalonda Royster,  Kevin Jones and Travis Battle all of Petersburg, VA.
