Barbara Beamon

Mrs. Barbara Ann Beamon (affectionately known as Libby, Aunt Libby) was born February 13, 1945, to the late Lillie Moe Partlow and Willie Chaney, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Libby passed away peacefully on October 05, 2024.

Libby is preceded in death by her husband Larry Beamon, Sister’s Bernice Partlow Harris, Sarah Evans, Sharon Chaney Brother, Thomas Chaney.

Libby attended Charlotte Mecklenburg County Public Schools; Libby retired from the Blake Hotel in Charlotte.

Libby accepted Christ and became a member of First Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Libby is survived by one daughter, Shirley Thompson, one brother Ronnie Chaney two granddaughters, her favorite cousin Johnnie Mae Harris. A host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

The family would like to thank her special God-Daughters Angela Long and Anita Martin, for being always being there to take care and visit Libby, as well as\ the staff at Aldersgate Hospice Care, Toodville Rehabilitation Center, for the wonderful care you gave Libby.
