Barbara Hector

Barbara Theresa Hector, age 75 passed away peacefully May 27th, 2019 in Huntersville, NC.  She was born May 29th, 1943 in St. Mary, Jamaica to Harold and Rosa Seballo. She married her beloved husband Owen Lloyd Hector on November 8th, 1974.   Barbara was a sweet, kind, loving & forgiving woman. She loved her children, grandchildren, family & friends dearly. She loved to smile, dance, cook shop & clean.One of her favorite phrases was “I speak the Queen’s English!.”She loved her cats ,Bob Marley, Michael Jackson & Nicki Minaj.   Her life was a perfect example of the Bible verse Ephesians 4:32- “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you”   Barbara is survived by her loving husband Owen Lloyd Hector; her sisters Daphne, Cherry, Ingrid; her brothers Terrry, Lesine, & Swaybe ; her 4 children, Christopher, Gerald, Brian, Nyree & her nephew/son Sean Murdock; her grandchildren, Joshua, Sabria, Jada, Timothy, Madison, Gabrielle, Kezia, Jessica, Christopher, Javier & Izabella, plus many nieces, nephews & cousins, all who she loved & touched deeply.    Please join us in celebrating her life Friday June 7th, 2019 at 12:30pm.    Address: University Park Baptist Church, 6029 Beatties Ford Road Charlotte, NC 28216.   Please send flowers to Alexander Funeral Home located at 1424 Statesville Avenue Charlotte, NC 28206.
