Benjamin F. Spicer

"Daddy, your life was full of loving deeds, forever thoughtful for our needs.  Today, tomorrow, our whole life through, we will always love, honor and miss you."  Pauline and Paulette   On Sunday, November 19, 2017, the Lord called Benjamin Spicer home to peaceful rest in Charlotte, NC.   Benjamin is survived by his daughters, Pauline Spicer of Charlotte, NC, Paulette Spicer Sanders (Louis) of Gastonia, NC, and his bonus daughter, Jackie Kandakai of Charlotte, NC., one granddaughter, Kuawiyy Banks (Cleveland) and two grandsons, Timothy Spicer Hargett and Thomas Maleek Washington.  One sister, Eleanor Slade of Jacksonville, NC., cousins and a host of nieces and nephews who Benjamin was not only an uncle but surrogate father and trusted friend.     Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, 11/25/ 2017, 1:00 p.m. at Saunders Funeral Home, 210 Bell Fork Road, Jacksonville, NC.
