Bertha Edmond Sharpe-Lee

Bertha Sharpe Lee transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Novant Hospital, Huntersville, NC. The daughter of the late Sam & Ruth Sharpe was born on December 12, 1913. She is the last survivor of eleven siblings. She leaves to cherish her memories: Henry Grissom, beloved friend and steadfast companion, grandchildren, Brenda Lee Hill and Sonya Lee Gilbert, one God-son, Adrian Houston, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her beloved k-9 companion "Fella." Services will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2020 W. Sugar Creek Rd., Dr. Leonzo D. Lynch officiating on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 2 o'clock. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be in York Memorial Park Cemetery. Alexander Funeral Home is in charge of the service.
