Betty Brown

Betty Jean Sexton Brown, 69, was born to the late Elloree and Raymond Sexton on February 8, 1948 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2017 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital after battling Cancer.   She was united in matrimony with the late Mr. Frank Thomas Brown Jr. on September 03, 1967 they were married for 39 years. Betty Jean was a graduate of West Charlotte High School.   She worked for Continental Insurance Company as an administrative Assistant then, later retiring from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools testing department. She always loved the Lord at an early age, later becoming a member of Saint Paul Baptist Church. She really and truly enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with her family and friends.   Mrs. Brown leaves to cherish her memory: (3) Beautiful daughters, Jacquelyn Brown, Terrelle Freeman (Andreas), Sherri Brown; (3) Fabulous sisters, Bessie Sexton, Deloris Sexton, Pamela Sexton; (4) Fantastic brothers, Calvin Sexton (Mandy), Terry Sexton, the late Harvey Sexton, George Sexton (Georgette); (3) Awesome grandchildren, Quentin Brown, Andreas Freeman Jr., Ashely Freeman; (2) Wonderful great-grandsons, Isaiah Kamari Dill, Prince Samuel Brown; as well as a lovely host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that she loved and who loved her dearly.
