Bro. Elijah Dequan Beaufort was born on August 10, 1998, in Charlotte, North Carolina to Earvin and Kenetra Beaufort. He departed this earthly life on September 30 th , 2023. He was known by his family as “Woot!"
He graduated from Mallard Creek High School, Charlotte, North Carolina in 2016 where he played football and received 2 championship rings. He continued his education at Mars Hill University, Mars Hill, North Carolina where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice in 2020. He worked for Wells Fargo Bank, N.A in the Fraud Department. His name was placed on the roll at the United House of Prayer for all People in Charlotte , North Carolina at 8 months. Elijah loved God, Family and Friends. His favorite foods were grandmothers cooking, pepperoni pizza, sesame chicken and chicken tenders at the Panthers games. He was always very respectful, loving, kind, willing to help, a beautiful smile with a great sensor of humor. Since the age of 5 he played in football leagues which he grew to love. He loved taking pictures, enjoyed making music and watching football. A heart made of pure gold. His warmth, kindness, and enduring grace touched the hearts of everyone he encountered, leaving a lasting impression that will be cherished forever.
He is proceeding in death by grandfather: Earvin L Beaufort, Sr. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories: Grandparents: Johnnie Beaufort, Carlton and Phyllis Johnson., Kenneth Fraylon, Sr. all of Charlotte, North Carolina. One Aunt: Porscher (Trey) Enoch, of Charlotte, North Carolina
Five Uncles: Elder D. Adams, Washington DC, Kelvin Beaufort, Kenneth Fraylon, Jr, Quinton Fraylon, Xavier Fraylon , of Charlotte, North Carolina. Great Uncles: Thirteen Great Aunts: Fifteen and a multitude of very special cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who know him.
