Cerea Beal

Mr. Cerea Beal, Jr., of 4230 McCamey Drive, Matthews, North Carolina was transformed from his earthly home to his heavenly home in the sky on August 14, 2013, doing what he loved best, flying for United Parcel Service. He was born in Greenville, Mississippi on December 2, 1954, to Cerea and Mary Ann Beal. His wife is Darla Roddey Beal. Survivors include three children, two daughters, Kimberly Beal Pankey (Sylvester) and Sarah Cerea Beal, and a son, Dane B. Sparrow; two grandchildren, Kiyah and Christian Pankey; two sisters, Geraldine Muse and Ethel Blackwell, both of Chicago, IL; one brother, Ernest Beal (Patricia) of Chicago, IL; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Simelton and Cherita Davis (Dr. George Davis); one brother-in-law, Timothy Roddey (Lisa), all of Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Whooper. Funeral Service is Tuesday, August 20, 2013, 1:00 PM. The visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 7237 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC 28214.
