Huntersville, NC 28078 Committal Benediction ********************************* OBITUARY Charles (Paul) William Ross, 84, went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2016, at Novant Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He was born on February 9, 1932 to Minnie Fox Ross and John Henry Ross.  He served his country proudly in the Korean War and received an honorary discharge.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janie H. Ross, mother, father, brother (Isom), three sisters, Lillie, Lucy Dell, and Janie Mae and stepson, Eugene Stevens.  Charles is survived by his daughter, Carol Stevens, two sons, Galen and Leon Stevens; brother, Arthur Ross; sister, Louise Ezell; loving companion, Sally Jamison; five grandchildren, Nikki, Ashley, Anna Shelly, Jamie and Caroline; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and great-great grandchildren.
