Christopher M. Walker Sr.

Christopher Maurice Walker, the son of Annie Marie Hammonds and Haywood Crowder (Eva) was born on September 15, 1964. On the glorious day of Wednesday July 17th, 2024 Christopher departed to his eternal home in heaven.

Christopher graduated in the class of 1983 at West Mecklenburg High School of Charlotte NC. He was a dedicated worker employed at Barnhart Manufacturing Co. where he served 20+ years.

Christopher was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Elizabeth “Cookie” Walker, Clara Marie Walker, and Tamika Crowder.
He leaves cherish loving memories to his son; Christopher Walker Jr. “Kay” and 3 grandchildren Nick, Nathan and Noah Walker, one sister Sandra Evette Paulings (Antwain). Four brothers  Willie “Darnell” Walker (Karen) James “Boo-Boo” Crowder, Jeff Crowder and Micheal Huntley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.  Christopher loved and cherished his family; he was an amazing father and loved his grand kids. His greatest pleasure was spending quality time with his family and he always wore a contagious smile. Whenever Christopher was out, you would always catch him laughing, watching the Carolina Panthers game, or washing his cars. His kindness and loyalty were infectious to everyone that graced his presence & he left memories that will never be forgotten!
