Clezell Willie Black

CLEZELL GRAY WATSON BLACK-CHARLOTTE - God in his infinite wisdom plucked one of his finest roses to adorn his heavenly garden. Mrs. Clezell Gray Watson Black was transitioned to her eternal home on November 29, 2014. She was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg county school system, graduating from West Charlotte High School in 1953. She pursued higher education at Central Piedmont Community College for two years where she received a certificate in secretarial studies. She was employed by Pharr Yarns, Inc., McAdenville, NC for thirteen years and UNC Charlotte for ten years. She was a dedicated member or Ramoth AME Zion Church for over seventy years. She is survived by her husband Thomas Black, daughter Brenda Hall, sons Charles Hall (Joshlyn) and Anthony Houston, sister Janie Mae Lowery, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Alexander Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am Friday, December 5, 2014 at Silver Mount Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC. Burial: Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
