Colell Steele

Colell Bobby Steele was born on July 25, 1946 in Lancaster, South Carolina, to the late Sylvester (Sylvia) Woodard of Lancaster, South Carolina. Colell Bobby Steele, 76, of Charlotte, passed away on December 15, 2022 after a battle with Lung Cancer and COPD. Colell passed away at University Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, NC. After graduating from First Ward in Charlotte, North Carolina, he landed his first job as a Chef for Shoney’s and went on to be self-employed as a Property Preservation Maintenance. In 1966 he wed Mary Louse Steele; they continued to be married until he departed his life. Colell was predeceased by his sister Juanita Mcllwain, brother Robert Steele. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Mary L Steele , two son’s Barion Colell Steele, Carleus Steele ( Bruce), three daughter’s Marie Steele Brown, Sylvia Steele, Charlene Steele Young, nephew Darrell Mcllwain , and 13 grandchildren.
