Curlee Price

February 10, 1930 — January 19, 2021

Curlee Virginia Price was born on February 10th, 1930, in Cornelius, NC, to the late Lawrence Patterson and Sadie Burton. She departed this earthly journey on January 19th, 2021. Virginia was educated at Torrence-Lytle School in Huntersville, NC, and moved to New York City at the age of 18 where she met the love her life, the late Leon W. Price. After moving back to North Carolina with her three children and husband she had a long-time career as a professional seamstress. She was a faithful member of Eastway Church of God where she was filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost and served as a greeter. She believed that when she got to heaven, she would welcome the saints into the pearly gates. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Leon W. Price, daughter Denise, her sisters Yvonne Patterson, Trilby Patterson, and Joyce Patterson. Virginia leaves to cherish her precious memory, her loving sons Mark Price (Cee-Cee), Don Price (Terroncia), loving daughter and caregiver, Tracy Price Cohens (Felix Sr), and loving God-daughter Melissa McDaniels. Sister, Doris Cloud of Bronx NY, and Edith Stinson of Mooresville, NC; brothers, Raymond Patterson of Charlotte, NC, Spencer Patterson (Brenda), of Mooresville, NC, Bernard Patterson of Spartanburg, NC and Senix Patterson of Troutman NC; 13 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks, to Sister Mary Cornelius, Nurse and Caregiver, for her years of service caring for Mrs. Curlee Virginia Price.
