Cynthia T. N. Lidge

Cynthia “Nikki” Lidge, 49, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on August 8, 2025, after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 11, 1976, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Zettie Smith Perry and the late Charles E. Perry Sr.

Cynthia relocated to North Carolina in 2021 from Niagara Falls, NY, where she attended local schools. She worked in the restaurant industry and was known for her love of online shopping. She enjoyed music, playing games, and spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Laquisha Perry, Je’Tyra Perry, and Jazier Sistrunk, of Charlotte, NC, son Trayvon Lidge, and her beloved granddaughter Emani Lidge, of Georgia.

She is survived by brothers Orlando (Carol) Smith of Niagara Falls, NY,  and Charles (Tina) Perry of Winston-Salem, NC; and sisters Lasheda Perry, Saia (Ryan) Jones, Lashaundria Coleman, and Nicole (Johnal) Gleen, of Charlotte, NC; and Charlene Perry of Cleveland, OH, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss her warmth and presence.
