Daisy Ruth Jackson-Alexander

Mrs. Daisy Ruth Jackson Alexander was born on February 3, 1927 in Anson County to the late Jewell Odell Jackson and departed this life on March 1, 2014 at Carolina Medical Center. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11am at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn-West Cemetery. Her memories will live on in the minds and hearts of her loving children, daughters: Ms. Julia Randolph, Ms. Bertha Anthony, Ms. Ernestine Alexander and Mrs. Cassie Sharpe all of Charlotte, N.C. and Ms. Cathey Haynes of Gastonia, N.C., sons, Mr. Ernest Alexander of the home, Mr. Gracon Alexander of Durham, N.C. and Mr. Tony Townsend (Laura) of Charlotte, N.C., two adopted children, Ms. Deborah Blackmon and Jaden Wilson of Charlotte, N.C., 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great grandchildren.
