D'Janaira Walker

D’janaira Walker, 6, was ushered by the Lord's angels to Heaven on December 23, 2019 at Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital (Charlotte, NC). She was the daughter of Bryan Walker and Breanna Gallagher. “DJ,” as she was affectionately known, was born on December 27, 2012 in York, PA. She attended preschool at LIU #12 York (PA). She attended elementary school at Carter Mcrae Elementary School in Lancaster, PA. She enjoyed school, watching video games, “Frozen,” “Mickey and Minnie Mouse,” and spending time with her siblings and family. She genuinely loved life. “DJ” leaves to cherish her memory, parents; siblings, Ayanna Walker, Brynn Walker, Chloe Walker, and Bryan Walker Jr.; grandparents, stepfather Barry Fetrow (maternal), Diane Walker Whitaker (Tony Whitaker) and Chris Penn (paternal); and a host of family, friends, and nurses that cared for her. “DJ” was preceded in death by twin sister, Vonyaira Walker; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Fetrow and paternal great-grandmother Marjorie Walker. A memorial will be held on January 4, 2020 at 2pm (Alexander Funeral Home 1424 Statesville Rd. Charlotte, NC 28206).
