Donnell Baker

60, of Charlotte, NC, died peacefully at home January 19, 2020. He was born June 12, 1959 in Chesterfield County, SC to the late James T. Baker and Altha Baker and was reared in Charlotte, NC since infancy. Donnell was a 1977 graduate of West Charlotte High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Accounting from Barber-Scotia College in Concord< NC in 1981. He was a self employed tax accountant and owned a small trucking company. Donnell is survived by his wife, Stephanie Huntley Baker of Charlotte, NC, daughter, Danielle Baker of Columbus, OH, son , Donnell Baker Jr. of Columbus, OH, his mother Altha Baker(Robert) of Charlotte, NC , sisters, Vivian Williams(Freddie) of Charlotte, NC, Terry Brunson of Charlotte, NC, brothers, Henry Baker of Charlotte, NC, Michael Baker(Velina) of Raleigh, NC, Charlie Baker(Tammy) of Charlotte, NC and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 25,2020 at Mayfield Memorial Baptist Church, 700 West Sugar Creek Road, Charlotte , NC.
