Dorothy Broomfield Cherry

Mrs. Dorothy Broomfield Cherry passed away surrounded by family and friends Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013. A devoted aunt, cousin, and friend will be missed by all. The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept. 20th from 5-7 p.m. at Statesville Avenue Presbyterian Church, 3435 Nevin Rd., Charlotte, NC. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 21st at 1:30, beginning with the Omega service of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority at 1:00, the Rev. Amantha Barbee officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the scholarship Fund of Statesville Avenue Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under the care of Alexander Funeral Home.
