Mr. Doug E. Evans, III was born in Charlotte, N.C. on November 10,1949 and departed his earthly life on May 31, 2013. "Doug" was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System and graduated from West-Charlotte High School in 1967. A Homegoing Celebration will be held at Zechariah Alexander, Sr. Memorial Chapel-1424 Statesville Ave., Charlotte, NC 28206 at 2pm with the visitation one hour prior on Thursday, June 13, 2013.
