Ella Mae Henderson Mack passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at her residence. She was born January 25, 1944 in Rock Hill, SC.late Alex Henderson and Maggie Henderson. Ella Mae attended Emmett Scott High School in Rock Hill, SC. She later moved to Charlotte where she met and married Junior Mack. To this union they have five children, Pauline, Annette, Shawn, Timothy and Anthony. At an early age she gave her life to Jesus under the leadership of Min. Sara Plair who taught her how to live a Holy life as a Woman. She later joined TrueWay COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Darryle Johnson. She also attended Mt. Zion COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Davis. She worked faithfully as an Usher and she also sang on the choir. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother. In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by all her children; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; aunts, Cora Johnson and Carrie Bennett who helped nurture and care for her in life; one uncle, John H. Johnson; other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11am at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour before service. Burial will be in Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens. Alexander Funeral Home is serving the family.
