Eric Jerron Lucas

Eric Jerron Lucas was born on May 24, 1981 in Durham, NC, to Felicia Lucas and Steven E. Cassell. He departed this life on Saturday, February 1, 2014. He graduated from Butler High School, and Queens University, in Charlotte, NC.
Eric, better known as “ELU” loved music and was considered an internationally known music entertainer, with his latest CD “Outta My Mind” just released and now being played on Power 98 in Charlotte, NC. He performed from coast to coast and had a strong fan base throughout the country. Two of his most recognized hits were “Billion Dolla Dream”, and “Say Yeah”. Music has always been Eric’s true passion.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Mother, Felicia Lucas, Father, Steven Cassell (Bernice), Grandmother, Sandra White and Gladys Massey, Grandfather, John Massey, one sister, Stephanie Cassell and one brother, Maurice McKinnon, a special Aunt, Gena Lucas (Scott Ward), cousin, Alex Ward, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 1pm at Zechariah Alexander, Sr. Memorial Chapel.
Alexander is serving the family.
