Essie "Mae" Ervin Ingram

December 15, 1942 — June 15, 2024

After a long illness Mrs. Essie “Mae” Ervin Ingram transitioned from this life on June 15, 2024. She was a native of York County, but lived in Charlotte since 1968. She was a devout spiritual leader and church musician who served throughout the Charlotte community where she lived out her convictions each day. She will be greatly missed as she was a spiritual leader in the lives of everyone she met and knew. Preparations are being provided by Alexander Funeral Home Inc., 1424 Statesville Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28206. Services will be held on June 28, 2024 at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 3307 Rea Road at 12 Noon, with viewing at 11AM.
