Florence L. Davis

FLORENCE L. DAVIS, daughter of the late Marshal Dickey and Lula Mae Davis was born in
Charlotte, North Carolina on June 11, 1933. Surrounded by family and friends, she peacefully went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2023. She was preceded in death by her: five younger sisters: Mrs. Mildred Wilson, Mrs. Earlene Hill, Ms. Louise Smith, Ms. Betty J. Young, Mrs. Dorothy Haywood; three nieces, Mrs. Debra Gill, Ms. Joyce Stitt, Mrs. Lori Hogan; nephew Dennis Young.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory nephews: Michael Harris (Carmen), Rickie Hill (Valerie),
Scottie Hill, Demetrius Young (Christiane); nieces: Patricia H. Williams, Angela H. McCaw (Eric),
Denise Young, Melanie H. Funderburk (Steve); a host of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins; special friend, Mrs. Susan Clewis; special son, Mr. Derrick Conyers.

*The family will receive friends and family on Friday, February 10th and Saturday, February 11th from
12 noon – 6pm at 1214 Kennon Street, Charlotte NC 28205.
