Fred Douglas Kennedy, Sr. (Kenny), 89, of 1831 Irma Street, Charlotte, NC peacefully departed this life on Friday, October 3, 2014 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. Mr. Kennedy was born on May 20, 1925 in Newberry, SC. He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Fred D. Kennedy, Jr. and Gregory A. Kennedy (Linda) and one daughter, Lydia Kennedy Lowe (Casey) all of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, Ryan B. Brown (Frenchie), Jade A. Kennedy, Cayla J. Lowe, Harold C. Lowe, Jr. and Carlos S. Winchester all of Charlotte, NC.
