Fredrick Waddell the son of the late Woodrow and Nancy Waddell was born in Charlotte, NC, April 27,1950. He departed his life on May 20,2019. God has gained another angel to join him. Fredrick was better known as Cookie to everyone. Fred was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School where he graduated from Olympic High School. After graduating Cookie served as 1St private in the U.S. Marine Corp. Returning home from Vietnam Fred worked several jobs such as the Department of Sanitation, Railroad Company, and U.S. Postal. Cookie as a young child attended Moore's Sanctuary with his grandmother, where he became a member. Taking further steps in the ministry he became saved. Fred was baptize later in life and was active on the usher board. Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife Debra Jean. Along with his parents Woodrow and Nancy. Also his sisters Josephine Zerker and Shiba Brown. Cookie leaves behind to cherish his memories; two sons Steven Massey(Jan) and Herve Cohens: two daughters Tinika Martin(Shawn) and Talaya Alston(Maurice), all of Charlotte, NC ; three brothers Michael Brown(Gwendolyn),William Brown(Everette) and Richard Brown(Jeanatte), all from New York, NY; two sister-in-laws Cynthia Martin and Sandra McClure(Ronald); four brother-in-laws Greg Martin, Anthony(Oglathia), Curtis Martin and Michael(Kim) all of Charlotte NC; Two Aunts Bessie White and Mary Gresham(Charles) both from Charlotte NC;15 grandchildren, a host of beloved nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and friends. All the happiness he spreaded by saying, "If nobody told you today that they love you I LOVE YOU!"
