Glenn A. Beeler, Sr. attended Kentucky State University where he received his first bachelor’s degree in ‘Chemistry & Mathematics’. He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Majestic Psi Psi Chapter and one of the founding members of the Graduate Charter Chapter in South Bend, Indiana.
By the power of the Holy Spirit and as a “born again” Christian {8/1/2012}, he received his second bachelor’s degree from Lee University on May 7th, 2016, Summa Cun Laude in ‘Christian Ministry’ {Bible & Theology}. He continued his academic journey and obtained a master’s in ‘Ministry Studies’ on May 5th, 2018, which focused on Christian Leadership & Discipleship {4.0 GPA}. He became an ordained minister, and later became a published author on the Millennial crisis in the church and distributed his book to every Christian denomination within the state of North Carolina.
However, “With much knowledge comes much sorrow” Ecclesiastes 1:18; It took him a while to “wrap” his mind around that scripture, but he saw the “Light of Truth”. His heart aches for those who are lost, for he was one of those who was “lost” and walking in darkness but through the power of the Holy Spirit he was awakened and now lives in Christ Jesus.
First and foremost, as an Evangelist, one of his core values for ministry was relationship building, that is demonstrating to others the importance and the necessity of having a relationship with Jesus Christ. This value is important and essential to his ministry efforts because as an Evangelist it was his duty and obligation to spread the Good News. Eternal life and salvation can be found through and in Jesus Christ who is our Lord and Savior. Most people feel that salvation is a complex issue and task but all one needs to do is confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved and have eternal life. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, whoever believes in Him will not perish and whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
His short-term mission was to minister to his friends and family, teach the Word of God, and preach the Word. His long-term mission as a disciple of Christ was in sync with the “Great Commission” spoken of in Matthew 28:19-20 and that is to “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I command of you; for I am with you always, even to the end of the world”. Sounds impossible, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” His long-term mission and ultimate goal as an Evangelist were to bring people to know Jesus Christ. He knew that God was there to support him and that it was not all up to him. He planted the “seeds” of the gospel wherever he could, which is the Truth that would hopefully move people incrementally one step closer to Christ.
He wants you to know Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and as our Great High Priest will lead us to the Father. The Word transcends race, ethnicity, education, gender, politics, and social status. Intellectual faith is to know there is a God and temporal faith is to know who to call on in time of need but “saving” faith is being baptized and walking in the Spirit and by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
