Gussie Morrison

Mrs. Gussie C. Morrison, affectionately known as “Mushey,” was born on May 13, 1945, in York, SC, to the late Albert and Carrie Caldwell. Gussie departed this life on February 8, 2022, at Accordius Health Nursing Home.

“Mushey” retired from Domestic work doing housekeeping for over twenty years, primarily for Mrs. Vicky Starr.

Gussie was preceded in death by her late husband, Willie Lee Morrison; son, Tony V. Caldwell; daughters, Angela C. Morrison and Brenda M. Beverly; granddaughter, Cierra Hill.

Gussie leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Carrie (Terry) Hill of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Tony (Wendy) of Tulsa, OK, Charlton, Terrence, Sheri (Tony), Ashley (Jonathan) and Meisha, all of Charlotte, NC; sister, Katie Roseborough and brother, Lewis (Margaret) Caldwell, both of Charlotte, NC; a host of great-grands, nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her stubbornness and her goofy laugh.
