Mrs. Gwendolyn Bridge Heard died on 11/16/2017. She was a teacher in Charlotte/Mecklenburg schools for 20 years, having retired in 1985 after 35+ years teaching. Mrs. Heard was the wife of Isaac Heard, Sr. She is survived by her children, Isaac Heard, Jr. and wife Patricia; Cheryl Heard Graber and husband Richard and 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for sometime later. An announcement will be made by Alexander Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please send donations to: Issac and Gwendolyn Heard Endowed Scholarship.
