Harold Kemble Curtis November 19, 1933 - September 2, 2013 CONCORD - Harold Kemble Curtis, 79, passed away peacefully at home in Concord, NC on September 2, 2013. Harold was born in Jamaica, West Indies to the late William and Edith Curtis. He was the last survivor of their eleven children. In addition to his parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Elaine Miles in March of this year. Harold is survived by his long time companion, Wilhellmina Thomas (Berniece), four children: Alda Grant of Palm Bay, FL, Lorraine Thompson of Apex, Yvette Mills (James) of Charlotte, William Curtis of Center Valley, PA; grandchildren: Sean Myrill of Huntington Beach, CA, Laini Byfield (Koi) of Fort Mill, SC, Ashanti Mills, Soleil Miles, Joie Mills and Stone Miles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives in the US, Canada, England and Jamaica. Services to celebrate Mr. Curtis' life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 525 Lake Concord Rd., Concord, NC.
