Harold Fay Wofford

Harold Fay Wofford entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

He was born on November 17, 1940, at 618 S. Graham Street in Charlotte and was the son of the late Willie Franklin Wofford and Lucille Satterwhite Wofford. He graduated from West Charlotte High School in 1958 and Johnson C. Smith University in 1962 with a degree in Chemistry. He was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Willie Wofford, Jr., Ruby W. Perry, Mozelle W. French, James E. Wofford, and Betty W. Taylor.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister Anne Wofford McKenzie of Atlanta, GA; special niece, Yvonne F. Stinson (John); special cousin, Patricia W. Clardy; and the Wofford-Mitchell-Satterwhite families.
