Henry Baker

Henry Francis Baker affectionately known as “Skinny Man” was born on June 26, 1961 in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He was the fourth child born to the union of Altha Mae Baker and the late James Thomas Baker. Henry transitioned from his earthly home on Friday, February 16, 2024 in Charlotte.  Henry was preceded in death by his father, James T. Baker and his brothers James E. Baker, Donnell Baker and Willie T. Baker.

Henry is survived by his daughters Taneika Baker-McCorkle (Leon) and Aleisha Baker; granddaughters Leah McCorkle; Londyn McCorkle, all of Charlotte, NC; mother, Altha Baker (Bobby), Charlotte, NC; siblings, Vivian Williams (Freddie), Charlotte, NC; Michael Baker (Velina), Raleigh, NC;  Charlie Baker (Tammy), Charlotte, NC; Shelton Nicholson (Cathy), Atlanta, GA; Terry Brunson, Charlotte, NC; Aunts Roberta Aiken; Nellie Hill (Curtis); all of Charlotte, NC; and Nanny Lindsay, Ansonville, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
