Herbert Sheldon Powers, Iii

Mr. Herbert Sheldon Powers III, son of Carolyn and Herbert Powers Jr. was born on June 2, 1982 in Charlotte, NC. He departed his earthly home on Monday, November 18, 2013. He was educated in Charlotte Mecklenburg County Schools and graduated from West Charlotte Senior High. Herbert served in the United States Army, Air Force Division, in support of operation Iraqi Freedom II. His dedicated parents survive him, his loving sister Ebony Powers Watermann (William) and his affectionate nephews Taylor and Jaxson Watermann of Harrisburg, NC; and a host of devoted relatives. Visitation of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 26th from 12-1 PM at 15th Street Church of God, 615 East 15th Street, Charlotte, NC 28206, with a service to follow at 1 PM. Interment will be the following day at 2 PM at Salisbury National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate a MEMORIAL gift in his honor to the 15th Street Church of God Community Kitchen via the address above. Alexander Funeral Home will be serving the Powers Family.
