Inez Chisholm Vance

Mrs. Inez C. Vance departed this life Friday, September 11, 2020 after a brief illness. A viewing of the body will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 12:00 Noon to 6:00pm at Alexander Funeral Home. A private service will be held for the family.

Mrs. Inez C. Vance born February 1, 1929 in Charlotte, NC to the late Mr. Hezekiah Chisholm and Mrs. Ola S. Chisholm. She departed this life after a brief illness on Friday, September 11, 2020.

Mrs. Vance was a graduate of Second Ward High. After graduation she attended the School of Nursing at Good Samaritan Hospital in Charlotte, NC. She was employed by Sharon Towers Facility and later was a business owner of Vance Grocery. She was a member of East Stonewall A.M.E. Zion Church.

Mrs. Vance was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Charlie Vance, a son Gregory Vance and two granddaughters Kimara P. Bacon and Mitch Vance.

She is survived by one daughter Jacqueline V. Parker (Vincent) of Pfafftown, NC, two sons Rodney Vance and Michael Vance of Charlotte, NC, two sisters Mrs. Juanita C. Wood of Ohio and Mrs. Barbara C. Goines of Charlotte, NC and one brother Mr. Hezekiah Chisholm Jr. (Doris) of Charlotte, NC, her grandchildren Shondus P. Eleyan, Maronzio Vance, Maureus Vance, Marnia Vance and Michael Morgan, eleven great-grand children, special friends Ms. Dorothy Russell, Ms. Dawn Neal and Ms. Deloris Wallace and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
