Irene Louis Stroud-Johnson

July 28, 1944 — January 5, 2018

Irene Louise Stroud-Johnson, was born to Grace L. & William R. Coleman, Sr. in Dayton, Oh., Where she resided until moving to Charlotte, NC in 1990 to work for Carolina Medical Center Neonatal Unit until retirement. Her hobbies were sewing, crocheting, knitting, traveling and cooking. She is a Graduate of University of Dayton and Gardner Webb University.
She Loved her family and is preceded by her grandparents William K and Blanche Hopkins, who raised her in Newark, Oh., parents Grace Stroud and William R. Coleman, Sr. siblings pam Stroud, Dorothy Stroud, Lurline "Renee" Stroud, Betty (Tom) Baxter, William Stroud, Greg Coleman, Gweyn Bruer, Brenda Sue Coleman, and Grandson Arron Wagner. She is survived by her children, Lee Johnson, III, Christina L. (Eric) Mabry, Moniqua M. Johnson, ans Steven S. Johnson. Niece Erika (Coday) Hill. Grand Children Ashly (Garrie) Whetstone, India Davis, Krystal (Dexter, Sr.) Mardenborough, Samira Abdullah, Ibrahim Abdullah, and Farah Abdullah. Siblings Caroln Stroud, Raymond Stroud, James Stroud, Richard Stroud, Brian Stroud,. William Coleman, Jr., Jerry Coleman, Jenifer Coleman, Debbie Coleman, Roger Coleman, Johnnie Coleman and a host of family and friends.
She was a member of Rainbow 258 Order of Eastern Star, Queen of South, Peace and Harmony Amaranth Court 017, and Deborah Court HOJ 512, Zelda Lady of Knights Templar Court 1631, Fatina Daughters of Isis Court 102, Modern Free and Accepted Freemasons of the World, Inc.
