Jacqueline H. Liggett

Jacqueline Liggett was born Thursday September 18, 1947 in Knoxville TN, to the late Sarah and Isaiah Harrison. She was preceded in death by brothers, Isaiah and Jody Harrison and sisters, Yvonne Burton, Ruby Harrison, and Mary Soublet.

Jacqueline attended Second Ward High School in Charlotte NC and received her BSW, Bachelor of Social Work from Belmont Abbey College, she later retired from the Department of Social Services in 2003. Jacqueline was an exceptional cook, big-hearted and vibrant; she loved to host her family for the holidays. Jackie loved to travel and put together chic looks, with her sunglasses being the final touch. She was a loving wife to John Liggett with whom she spent 32 years. As the matriarch, she had immense passion for her family and offered unconditional love, strength, and generosity that extended beyond her immediate family to encompass a wide network of loved ones.

She is survived by her daughters, Neese Harrison (Anthony Howze), Lynn Arant, Angela Arant and Christa Arant. Grandchildren , Brandee Arant, Brandon Arant, Jaquces Arant, Anthony Howze jr, and Kadin Lewis. Sister Lilly Sings, 8 great grand children and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a force to be reckoned with and will truly be missed.
