Jannie Gaines

Mrs. Jannie Gaines of Charlotte NC passed away Monday April 14, 2014 at her home. Jannie was born July 4,1916 in Aiken County, SC, she later moved to Charlotte, NC. In her early work years she was a domestic engineer, then a nutritionist at Shiloh Institutional Baptist Church where she was a faithful member for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years. She is survived by her grandchildren.  Homegoing services will be Saturday April 19, 2014 at Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church at 2422 Ashley Rd @ 12:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am. Burial will be at Charlotte Memorial Gardens on Hood Rd. Condolences may be offered at Alexander Funeral Home who is serving the family.
