There will never be another Vonte. He will truly be missed.

As well as maternal grandmother Margarita Zepeda, paternal grandmother Fontaine Tyler Lane; paternal grandfather Gary Leon Lane, Sr; A host of aunts and uncles and many other family members and friends.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Matthew 5:4-6  NIV

I can not stop the time,
I try to take it back and rewind.
Let my mind wander to all of the past,
Of good things that seem to never last.
My brother my baby just one of a kind,
You've influenced us all through your beautiful mind.
Its like that scene on repeat,
It keeps going and going not skipping a beat.
I cherish every moment every single memory,
Of the past, of the present and what's said to be.
To call this reality just doesn't seem fitting,
Without my entire heart here no longer existing.
I'd give anything for your hugs or that infectious smile,
You gave everyone life around you no matter how versatile.
You spoke so much truth that only a select few could listen,
And you spoke on how this game just wasn't for winning.
You're the strongest bravest most passionate soul I've met,
I knew you'd make it there I was just hoping not yet.
Even though you didn't make it to the end of my story,
I know you're with God and all of His glory.
I have to keep you alive in order for me to make it,
I will always keep our chapters folded down because its always one of my favorites.

I love you to infinity and beyond little big brother
