J'Carta Damon Sanders, Jr.

J’Carta Damon Sanders Jr., 25, a native of Charlotte NC, departed this life on August 23, 2022.
He was the son of J’Carta and Kenya-Kenyada Sanders. J’Carta was preceded in death by his
grandmother, Brenda J. Spencer and grandfather, Samuel Broward.
He attended Charlotte Mecklenburg County Schools and was recently employed with a Sprinter
Trucking Company.
J’Carta was affectionately known to family and friends as Buddah. He had a beautiful smile, a
memorable laugh and a loving way of getting on your nerves.
He spent a great portion of his early childhood with his grandparents Robert and Brenda
because they simply fell in love with him and wouldn’t let him go. Everyone that knew him knew
that his grandfather spoiled him to the core.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Juel Damon Sanders, daughter, J’la Marie Sanders,
one bonus daughter Reign Smith, girlfriend, Jameka P. Norris; one brother J’Shari Billups
(Stephanie); grandfather, Robert Spencer; grandmother, Creola Sanders; Aunts, Carol Beatty
(Rogers) Marie Duncun (Eric) Tammie Blalock (Chad) and Marilyn Adams; Uncles, Gregory
Craig (Lisa) Robert Craig (Natasha) Dameion Owens (Tomeka) Samuel Justice; a host of
nieces, nephews, family and friends.
