Jestine Cunningham

Ms. Jestine Cunningham was born October 28, 1937 in Charlotte, North Carolina and departed this life Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Novant Health (Main) in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Jessie and Sally Dalton.

Jestine attended Second Ward High School. She was a member of Saint Paul Baptist Church. Jestine worked until her health begin to decline. She was a member of The Golden Years Club, where she traveled and went on many cruises.

She was preceded in death by two sons, David Cunningham of Charlotte, NC and Timothy Foster of Charlotte, NC.

Those left to share her loving memories are two daughter Gardenia Gaither (Marion), and Janet Cunningham both of Charlotte, NC, three sons, Clarence Cunningham, Alvin Cunningham and James Foster Jr. all of Charlotte, NC, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, a special great grandchild, C.J., a host of other family and friends.
