Joe Nathan Reid

Joe Nathan Reid was born on Thursday, September 30, 1955 and he left this earth on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Joe was the fourth of fifteen and the third son of James Creft Sr. and Mary Ruth Bivens Reid.

Joe attended Union County Public Schools.

Joe was preceded in death by his father and mother; James “JC” and Mary Reid and his brother, Rev. James Reid.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his pride and joy, his daughter, Angelia (Thomas) Feemster, his grandsons: Kendric Ivey and Thomas “T” Feemster III and his granddaughters: Akira and Annslee Feemster. His first great-grandson: Israel Ivey and his mom, Bashya Jones. His bonus grandchildren: Kris and Kristin Feemster and Alexis Baptiste.

He also leaves his memories to his siblings: Nutricia Reid, Donald Ray Reid, Mary (Billy) Funderburk, William (Teresa) Reid, Agnes (Aaron) Funderburk, Bobby Reid, Cynthia (Joey) McClendon, Darlene Reid, Subrena Collins, Melvin Reid, Kathy Reid, Curtis Reid and Danny (MaryAnn) Reid. Numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will gather for visitors at 324 Talleyrand Ave, Monroe NC from 6-9pm.
